Do you like trivia, karaoke, bowling, or just a night out at a restaurant? Join us for our monthly gatherings at different spots around Hattiesburg! We want to provide an opportunity for our queer community to do fun & normal activities in safe environments and take up space as queer people in non-queer spaces. Next Queer Night Out is going daytime with a LAKE DAY at Paul B Johnson State Park!
Queer Night Out is stepping into the light! We’re having a lake day - swimming, picnicking, yard games, and more. We will be at Pavilion 29 at Paul B Johnson State Park - right across from the splash pad - starting at 11am. All ages welcome!
Attendees will have to pay a small entry fee ($2 per person, ages 5 & under are free) but Pavilion rental, food, and games are at no cost.
Please bring water & sunscreen! We will have extras for use as needed. Restrooms are located onsite, and there is a visitor center with AC in the event anyone overheats.
Additional amenities at Paul B for those interested: water activities (boating, water skiing), fishing, splash pad, disc golf, and nature trails. Some activities require additional fees.
