Pine Belt Pride
Pine Belt Pride began in 2015 as Southern Fried Pride and has since evolved into one of the state’s largest and most recognized Pride celebrations.
Each year brings the usual favorites, like Pride in the Park and Queeroake, as well as new and exciting programs geared toward serving the community and advocating for inclusion & equity for all.
Pride was born as a protest led by trans women of color, and we strive to keep the spirit of those women and the many who came before and after alive here in our South Mississippi town. Join us to experience a welcoming and supportive community of queer folks as we envision a world where every day can be Pride!
Pine Belt Pride is organized and produced by The Spectrum Center of Hattiesburg and its incredible team of volunteer organizers and advocates. Contact us if you’re interested in planning Pride and getting involved!
