Donation Guidelines

what to donate
Sealed packaged foods (Cereals, rice, pasta, beans, crackers, popcorn, granola, protein bars, nuts, etc.)*
Fresh dairy (Unopened milk, yogurt, eggs, butter, cheeses, etc.*
Fresh fruit
Fresh vegetables
Bread and pastries*
Canned goods*
Non-alcoholic drinks (Bottled water, unopened fruit juice, milk and dairy-free alternatives)*
Condiments, spices, oils, and baking ingredients*
Small cooking utensils like can openers, spatulas, etc
PPE (masks, gloves, hand sanitizer)
Pet supplies
Baby supplies (diapers, formula, wipes, etc.)
Hygiene products
*Foods should have ingredients and an expiration date listed and be safe to eat.
ALL food and non-food items should be in good condition.

Raw milk cheeses

Leftovers
Home prepared foods
Any food in a broken or unsealed container
Foods that do not have ingredients or an expiration date listed
Broken or unusable items
Unwashed or unclean items
Anything you wouldn’t eat or use yourself

Etiquette & Rules
Wear a mask and clean hands before accessing the fridge or handling any food
Avoid unnecessary contact with food items to prevent contamination
If you notice any food smells, has mold, gone bad, or if any packaging has been compromised, please throw it away!
Check use-by dates on food products. Discard any out-of-date food.
Please put new donations toward the back of the shelves so that food gets eaten in the order it is donated
