dear Beloved Community:

We know the events of this week have been scary, alienating, and difficult for many of us. We are right there with you and are holding space for all the things you may be feeling right now. We hope you have taken some time over the past couple days to breathe deeply, take care of yourself, and lean in to the people who care for you.

While we do not know yet what will happen or whether we will all be ok, we do know that we intend to be here for each other as much as possible. Now more than ever we recognize the importance of community, cooperation, and mutual aid, and we are already putting as much effort as is available into building strong networks of support and collecting tools and resources for what comes next.

In addition to our regular programming - like Hattiesdrag, Queer Night Out, Jellyfish Youth Group, and more - we plan on building up our direct financial assistance through our Mutual Aid Program, adding events geared toward supporting the mental, physical & emotional health of our community, and increasing our advocacy at all political levels. Please reach out if you want to get involved.

Queer existence, joy, and community is resistance. TSC and the community we have built has been strong for 10 years, and we will be strong for 10 more and beyond regardless of threats, bigotry, or politicians. No matter what, we are here for you.

As always, please reach out to us if you need support, assistance, or a supportive ear.
